Mahindra Two Wheelers launches Rodeo UZO 125

Mahindra Two Wheelers India has launched a new scooter for the Indian roads with Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125, priced Rs 47,957.
The new sporty, top-end two wheeler packs a 125 cc engine that delivers max power of 8.04 hp @ 7,000 rpm and 9 Nm peak torque @ 5,500 rpm mated to continuously varying transmission or CVT and a 22-litre storage space.
The standard version Mahindra Rodeo had been around for quite some time now and has been pretty well received by young commuters.
The scooter comes with external front fuelling, a ground clearance of 154 mm and a fully digital dashboard and impact resistant mirrors at front. The bike's overall aerodynamic style lends it a racing-style look.
Additionally, the basic features include a tachometer, an odometer, a speedometer, a trip meter, a high-speed alarm, a fuel indicator and an accelerometer. With the 12V mobile charging point, riders get a great utility that offers a quick charge on-the-go.
The Rodeo UZO 125 comes in four body colours- Racetrack Black, Colt Black, Victory Violet and Blazing Blue, equipped with 4-in-1 anti-theft key and storage capacity of 22 litres.
According to Popli, the Rodeo UZO 125 redefined the scooter segments on many fronts, setting new benchmarks on performance, technology, features, convenience and style.
The company would also launch its new 110cc scooter in India in this year. The company's first 110cc segment scooter code-named, G101 scooter is likely to come with a single cylinder air cooled four stroke 106.7cc engine, capable of pumping in a power of 8.5 PS and peak torque of 8.5 Nm, coupled to a CVT.
The scooter would likely promise fuel efficiency of over 60kmpl and it was expected to get features like MRF Nylogrip tyres, telescopic front forks, a new instrument console, an analogue fuel gauge and archetypal switch-gear.
