Inadequate Microsoft Surface Pro supply riles customers

Though Microsoft's Surface Pro ad is out, it seems to be hardly cutting any ice with frustrated consumers who cannot get their hands on the product.

The ad focuses on pen input and the lightness of Microsoft's latest offering, wighing two pounds, and makes pointed reference to the touch interface and USB connectivity.

The ad like that of the earlier Surface RT ad has been directed by Jon M Chu.

However, the official Surface Blog is flooded with comments expressing anger over supply.

"I went to three Best Buys, and two Future Shops. Sold out everywhere...Am I disappointed? Of course, I was really looking forward to 'trading-up' my iPad 4 for the Surface Pro," a person identified as ChrisJamesKnapp complained.

"I really wanted the Surface Pro 128. I went to 4 stores...but like most others I was completely let down by the lack of inventory. It reeks of incompetence at best or a poor marketing ploy at worst," went a rant from ARigs.
