Mahindra & Mahindra Q1 net dips 6 per cent

Mumbai: Tractor and utility vehicles manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd today reported a 6.37 per cent decline in the profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 191.17 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs 204.18 crore for the same period last fiscal.

During the quarter, its total income (net of excise) grew by 15.90 per cent at Rs2,644.39 crore for the first quarter as against Rs2,281.69 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year.

Shares of the company dipped 2.67 per cent on the BSE.
