Chennai: Maruti Udyog has effected a price increase ranging from 0.33 to 1.7 per cent on all its models barring the Baleno and the Versa. The company cites the increase in input costs for the price hike.

While the Esteem witnessed the steepest hike, Maruti couldn’t touch the prices of the Baleno and the Versa as these are not fast moving. The company and its dealers were offering nearly Rs 1-lakh discount on the Versa.
