Maruti sales increase

New Delhi: Car market leader Maruti Udyog sold 39,745 vehicles in November 2003. This includes 3,608 units of exports. In November 2002 the company sold 30,752 units.

Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment (Alto, Wagon-R, Zen) grew by about 65 per cent, in the A1 segment (Maruti 800) by 33 per cent and in the C segment by 23.7 per cent during the month, compared to sales in November 2002.
