Dhoni and his band of boys get dunked in Pepsi’s new TVC

Ever seen boat cricket? Heard of cricket being played on boats with paddles as bats? Would you ever challenge ace cricketers at their own game? Bewildered? So that's exactly what the new Pepsi television commercial is all about!
The ad brings together five popular cricketers, M S Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Ishaant Sharma, Robin Uthappa and Praveen Kumar from the cricket field to the spectacular backwaters of Kerala!
Centre staging the youth's cool, winning and daring attitude, the TVC revolves around a bunch of young fisher boys challenging the celebrities at their own game. With this TVC, Pepsi urges the youth to get what they want in their own, unmatched way simply captured with their tagline, 'My Pepsi, My Way'! The JWT creative team included Soumitra Karnik, executive creative director and Amit Wadhwa, client services director. The production house is Corcoise Films, while the director is Prasoon Pandey and producer is Cyrus Pagdiwallah.
Commenting on Pepsi's new 'Youngistaan' TV campaign, Sandeep Singh Arora, executive vice president, marketing, PepsiCo India, said, ''Within a short time, 'Youngistaan' has become a term that encapsulates today's youth; it speaks their language and reflects their attitude, thoughts and aspirations. Through the TVC and the campaign line: ''My Pepsi, My Way'' Brand Pepsi is provoking the youth of today to take on any situation and use their mental smarts to effortlessly find their way through any given situation. ''

According to Pepsi's brand ambassador - M S Dhoni, ''I have always enjoyed shooting for Pepsi ads as they give me a chance to do something new every time. In this TVC, there was yet another exciting game of cricket but this time round on a boat with paddles! Shooting for this TVC has been great fun!''
