Patni in strategic alliance with Eagle Investment Systems

Patni Computer Systems has entered into a strategic alliance with Pittsburg-based Eagle Investment Systems LLC to offer an array of investment management solutions. The two companies will leverage their respective vision, and capabilities to offer services and gain advantages of scale, the companies said in a joint statement.
"Patni offers Eagle and our clients all of the advantages you would expect from a world class offshore provider. However, it is their indepth knowledge of the investment management space, the innovative vision they share with us and their keen focus on building relationships that led to this alliance," said David Palten, Eagle president and chief executive officer. "Combined with Eagle's industry leading software and consulting services, Patni's scale, services and aggressive creativity enable a prospect of growth and excellence for both of us that is truly exciting," he added.
Vic D'Alfonso, head of Patni's global financial services business unit, said: "This alliance represents a significant, new level of commitment to Eagle and to the asset management marketplace. It leverages Patni's integration experience within the middle- and back-office business areas both for IT services and business process outsourcing. Combining the services and product capabilities of both organisations adds a dimension to the portfolio accounting conversion and integration space that has not been available in the market until now."
