RPG Cellucom appoints Ogilvy & Mather as creative agency

New Delhi: Mobility solutions retail chain RPG Cellucom has appointed Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) as its creative agency.
O&M will handle all above-the-line and below-the-line activations.
RPG Cellucom claims a turnover of more than $400 million, and is a leading retail brand in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Africa. The company's lines of business include retailing, distribution, exports and after sales service of mobile phones and information technology products. Cellucom won the 'Superbrands 2007' title in UAE.
Biswajit Pandey, head of marketing at RPG Cellucom said, ''We chose O&M as they demonstrated their understanding of our business. They have the right people, passion and enthusiasm to provide the support we need for the 'Cellucom' brand in India.''
The account size is valued at Rs8 crore.
RPG Cellucom outlets showcase a wide variety of mobility solutions from leading brands like Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Vaio, HP/Compaq, Toshiba, Lenovo and Acer. The stores offer customers the latest range of mobile phones, PDAs, notebooks, mobile enhancements, mobile entertainment products, IT accessories and peripherals and mobility solutions.
