Reliance selects Technip technology for Jamnagar cracker project

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has selected French group Technip as a technology supplier and engineering contractor to implement its refinery off-gas cracker (ROGC) project at Jamnagar.
The cracker project is part of the expansion project being executed at RIL's world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex in Gujarat, RIL said in a release.
The ROGC plant will be amongst the largest ethylene crackers in the world and will use refinery off-gas as feedstock. The products from the plant will be utilised for the new downstream petrochemical plants being built at Jamnagar.
Technip is a world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry.
The company, with 30,000 employees the world over, offers solutions to projects ranging from the deepest subsea oil and gas developments to the largest and most complex offshore and onshore infrastructures.
