''Earlier this year, in the month of March, Jio introduced JIO Prime membership programme. Millions of customers enrolled into this membership. These founding members of Jio will also be special and they will continue to get industry-leading tariffs. With the introduction of EDMV plans, Jio customers no longer have to worry if they are getting the best value with Jio,'' a company release stated.

The Rs309 and Rs509 plans for Jio prepaid remain, but the validity period has been changed to 56 days. While the former plan has a cap of 1GB 4G data per day, by buying the second plan users can use 2GB 4G data per day, for 56 days.
The new Rs399 plan has the same data benefits as the Rs309 plan, but the validity of the former is 84 days, instead of 56 days.
Reliance Jio has also introduced Every Day More Value (EDMV) plans, with the aim of providing ''20 per cent more value than competitors' best plans''.
The new Rs349 plan (under EDVM) will provide users with 20GB of 4G data, with no cap on per day consumption. After the whole data is used up, the speed will reduce to 128kbps.

The validity periods are 90 days, 120 days, 210 days and 390 days, respectively. The data usage per day is unlimited, but after the data is exhausted, the speeds will drop to 128kbps in all these plans.
For Reliance postpaid users, there are two plans - Rs349 and Rs399, with two and three months of validity respectively. Under Rs349 plan, users will be given 20GB data with no cap, but speed reduction to 128kbps after data gets over.
