Following Saturday’s launch of 5G services in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur in Rajastan at an event at the state data centre, Reliance Jio on on Monday announced the launh of its True 5G services across 10 cities namely Agra, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Tirupati, Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), Kozhikode, Thrissur (Kerala) and Nagpur and Ahmednagar (Maharashtra).
Reliance Jio now claims to be the first and the only operator to launch 5G services in majority of these cities.
Starting today, Jio plans to invite Jio users in these cities to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.
“We are proud to rollout Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across 4 states. We have stepped up the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the nation because we want every Jio user to enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in the new year 2023,” a Jio spokesperson said.
“These newly launched True 5G cities are important tourism and commerce destinations as well as key education hubs of our country. With the launch of Jio’s True 5G services, consumers of the region will not just get the best telecommunication network but will also get infinite growth opportunities in the areas of e-governance, education, automation, Artificial Intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs,” the spokesperson added.
The availability of high-speed, low-latency, stand-alone 5G services will open new growth opportunities in the areas of tourism, manufacturing, SMEs, e-governance, education, healthcare, agriculture, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, and IT.
Jio provided a glimpse of the generational advancement that will be seen in these areas through the Jio Community Clinic medical kit, and the AR-VR device, Jio Glass at the Jaipur launch.
