Anil Ambani quits IPCL board

Anil Ambani, vice-chairman, Reliance Industries today resigned as vice-chairman and director of IPCL, headed by elder brother Mukesh Ambani.

Reliance Industries Ltd had acquired the government's equity in the former public sector IPCL in 2002 during the privatisation of various public sector units.

The resignation was confirmed by a spokesperson for Anil Ambain.
