Samsung Galaxy Note 8 open for pre-registration in India

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can now be pre-registered in India on the Samsung India website.
Thise who wish to buy the phone can register their interest in Samsung's new Note device, following which they will be notified of the latest updates. In addition to mandatory details like name, email, mobile number, and pin code; users will need to fill in what they are looking for in Galaxy Note 8.
Among the options are: a superior camera, a premium and stylish design, enhanced battery life, water and dust resistance, powerful gaming performance, and enhanced virtual reality experience.
Users can tick more than one check box and after accepting Samsung's Privacy Policy, choose whether they would like to receive further communications from the company. They will then need to type a code displayed in a box right below. Finally, they need to click on 'Register' to pre-book the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Meanwhile, The Indian Express said it had learnt that the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone will be in retail outlets in India around the last week of September, just in time for Diwali.
It cited a Samsung Smart Cafe sales executive, as saying that the first batch of units are expected to be ready to be delivered to customers in Delhi-NCR around 24 September.
The pre-registration process for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone has started in India.
The device is the successor to the Note 7 and shares its internals with Samsung Galaxy S8. The Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960.
The display is HDR-10 compliant, meaning that it supports a wider colour range than the average display.
The internals include a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 platform (depending on region), which is supported by 6 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB storage options.
