Spice Mobility launches India’s first 3D mobile phone

Spice Mobility has announced the launch India's first 3D mobile phone, View D that allows images, videos and even the interface to be experienced in 3D. The phone's auto-stereoscopic display offers users a 3D experience without 3Dglasses.The handset is officially called the M-67 3D.
The View D's screen design allows users to toggle between 2D and 3D user interface as per their choice. The phone incorporates a unique feature known as 'remote wipe' that deletes the phone data remotely. This is done with an SMS to the phone and works even in the event the phone is lost thus preventing loss of private and confidential data.
The View D is priced Rs4299 and other features include a 2MP Camera, an FM Radio, an MP3 player, expandable memory upto 16GB, a 2.4'' 3D display screen and GPRS and WAP technology.
According to Kunal Ahooja, CEO and director of Spice Mobiles, View D the mobile device with a 3D display has been launched in India for the first time. He added that the company had created the new device to fulfil the latest demands of smart mobile phone users.
''We expect that the View D will get popular amongst the youth, as they are always looking for smarter and newer ways of communication. The Spice View D satisfies our hunger to bring in innovative technology as well as their need of trying something new and cool'' he said.
