Sun TV launches new FM station at Allahabad and Jabalpur

Tamil Nadu-based Sun TV Network Ltd, owned by state chief minister M Karunanidhi's estranged nephews Kalanidhi and former union communication miniser Dayanidhi Maran, has announced the launch of its FM radio stations at Allahabad and Jabalpur, through its subsidiary South Asia FM Ltd.
The radio stations under the brand 'S FM' will begin on 18 March in Allahabad followed by the Jabalpur station on 19 March respectively.
With the two new stations, the total operational radio stations of Sun TV stations goes to 27 across the country.
These stations will broadcast at 93.5 MHz frequency in Allahabad and Jabalpur and will cater to the audience of all age groups.
The company also hold licenses for 45 FM radio stations in India, and will become the largest radio broadcasters in India when the remaining 18 stations become operational.
