Siemens launches ''little wonder'' mobile handset

The ''little wonder'' can be attached to the QuickPic camera with flash, offers polyphonic ring tones, and is equipped with JAVA, GPRS and WAP for connectivity anytime, anywhere. Designed for maximum mobility and weighing 85g, the chrome finish compact has an external loop antenna for better quality reception.
On flipping open the phone the CF62''s dynamic light function consisting of seven LEDs surrounding the keypad light up in 10 pre-installed blinking patterns, which can be programmed to serve as alerts for incoming calls or message.
The dynamic light can also be activated by other functions including alarm, opening and closing of the flip, low battery and battery charging. In addition, the brightness level can be adjusted to create personalised lighting patterns using the preinstalled dynamic light composer Java application.
Speaking at the launch of the handset, Jonas Nordquist, Head of Siemens Mobile Phones in India, said: " The CF62 provides a combination of fresh functionality, style and good value, which we are sure will be hard to resist for today''s trendy professional. The CF62 will effortlessly complement users in different settings, be it home, work or leisure."
The Siemens CF62 will be available in outlets across the country from May 2004 at a MRP of Rs9,790.
