By Our Corporate Bureau | 20 Sep 2003
Mumbai: Standard Electric Appliances (SEA), the manufacturers of Venus, the leading brand of water heaters in India, has launched a new heavy-gauge range of storage water heaters. This range is ideally suited for high-rise buildings and for use with automatic pressure pumps, shower panels and Jacuzzis. This range has been especially developed for the Mumbai market.
This range comes in 15, 25, 35, 50, 70, 100 and 150-litre capacities in both vertical and horizontal models, with a choice of attractive pastel shades in white, ivory, pink, grey, blue and green to match the bathroom. The price ranges from Rs 3,990 to Rs 17,730 (Mumbai). The new range is available in all leading home appliances retail outlets in Mumbai.
The heavy-gauge range is designed and engineered to withstand high-pressure conditions as high as 6 bars (kg/cm sq) / 85 psi as compared to 3 bars in regular models. This range is fortified with an extra strong copper tank with 1-mm thickness, which withstands high working pressure and ensures trouble-free bathing experience without any leakage and dripping valves. The powder-coated outer body makes it shock and rust proof.
The newly launched models are a result of continuous and valuable customer feedback and market research, which in turn has helped the company to come up with customised products for cities like Mumbai and many value-adds for the customers.
Tuticorin-based SEA is a 40-year-old company that has been a market leader and a pioneer in the water heater industry. Venus is one of the leading brands of water heaters in India and stands for quality, reliability, safety and performance.
