Sun-n-Sand sets up five-star resort in Pune

Pune:
Sun-N-Sand
has set up a five-star property in Pune, the third one
after Mumbai and Shirdi. Sun-n-Sand also operates out
of Surat.
Sun-n-Sand currently operates from the Bund Garden road property, where Holiday Inn, Pune used to function till recently.
Commenting on the Pune operations, Sun-n-Sand''s director Rajesh Advani says, "Sun-n-Sand has become synonymous with comfort, value for money and excellent service. Our team will make all-out efforts to not only maintain that image, but improve on it."
Sun-n-Sand
has earlier been awarded the best hotel in the 5-star
category for three continuous years (1995-98) by the Government
of India''s department of tourism.
"The group is popular among corporates as well as Bollywood. In fact, corporates form 85 per cent of our clientele and they view us as their best hospitality partners. Bollywood events, of course, have been giving Sun-n-Sand additional charm," Mr Advani said.
"Of late, there has been a rise in five-star hotels in Pune, which is a good omen for the industry," he added.
