Tata Motors’ SUV, MUV cross over to debut in a month

Tata Motors is said to be ready to launch Aria, a cross-over between a multi-utility and sports utility vehicle within a month. The car was unveiled at the Auto Expo and billed as a four-wheeler built for Indians by Indian engineers.
The car will compete with Toyota Innova and Mahindra's Xylo.
According to reports the car which will come with a lot of features is expected to be priced at around Rs10 lakh.
The Aria is powered by a 2.2-litre common rail diesel engine and and combines the functionality and comfort of a mid-range MPV with the all-terrain assurance and the premium appeal of an SUV. Safety features offered with the vehicle include 6 airbags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), a first for an Indian vehicle.
The auto major's current SUV and MUV range include Safari and Sumo Grande.
