Tata Motors launches new versions of Manza sedan
07 Feb 2011
Tata Motors on Sunday announced the launch of a new version of its sedan Manza, priced from Rs5.14 lakh onwards for the Safire petrol range and from Rs5.91 lakh upwards for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom Delhi). The cars would be available at Tata Motors dealers all over the country from today, a company release said.
However, the changes from the older versions seem largely cosmetic. ''With a new look of premium dual tone interiors and an exterior make-over, the new Tata Manza delivers a driving experience which is a class apart in the sedan market,'' the statement said.
The top-end variant of the new Tata Manza series, Tata Manza Elan, is equipped with a host of features like dual tone alloy wheels, burgundy and beige interiors, chrome garnished bottom weather strip, fog lamps and an all-new premium and exclusive Tyrian wine colour, it said.
Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs92,519 crore ($20 billion) in 2009-10.
With over 5.9 million Tata vehicles plying in India, Tata Motors is the country's market leader in commercial vehicles and among the top three in passenger vehicles, which includes the famously low-priced Tata Nano.
