Tata Motors global sales up 14 per cent at 102,411 vehicles in February

Global sales of the Tata Motors Group rose 14 per cent year-on-year to 102,411 units in February 2011 even as cumulative sales of the group during the first 11 months of the fiscal (April 2010-February 2011) rose 26 per cent to 970,129 units.
Global sales of all commercial vehicles - Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range - rose 10 per cent to 46,747 units in February 2011 while cumulative sales for the fiscal so were up 25 per cent at 455,448 units.
Global sales of all passenger vehicles rose 18 per cent year-on-year at 55,664 units in February 2011 while cumulative sales for the fiscal so far were up 27 per cent at 514,681 units.
Sales of Tata passenger vehicles and the distribution offtake in India of Fiat cars rose 14 per cent to 34,011 units in February 2011 while cumulative sales for the fiscal so far were 26 per cent higher at 297,209 units.
Combined sales of Jaguar and Land Rover in February 2011 were up 26 per cent at 21,653 vehicles. Jaguar sales for the month were down 2 per cent at 3,213 units while Land Rover sales rose 33 per cent to 18,440 units.

With consolidated global revenues of Rs92,519 crore ($ 20 billion) in 2009-10, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand and Spain.
