Jaguar Land Rover India opens a new parts distribution centre

Jaguar Land Rover India on Tuesday opened a new parts distribution centre (PDC) at Bhiwandi, near Mumbai.
This 70,000-square ft facility will have regionally-optimised inventory supporting both Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
''This PDC will further strengthen our service levels and the investment reinforces JLR's long-term commitment to the Indian market,'' said Rohit Suri, President of Jaguar Land Rover India.
The PDC will have a dedicated, on-site, customer service team to provide local customer service support and improve the regional supply chain velocity by allowing greater readiness and responsiveness to local requirements and in turn enhancing the overall customer experience, it said.
The Jaguar range in India includes the F–TYPE (starting at Rs126 lakh from CBU kits) and locally-manufactured XF (starting at Rs47.15 lakh) and XJ (starting at Rs96.05 lakh).
The Land Rover range in India includes the flagship Range Rover (starting at Rs183 lakh from CBU kits), Range Rover Sport (starting at Rs116 lakh also CBU) and Discovery 4 (starting at Rs111 lakh again from CBU kits) and the two locally manufactured brands Range Rover Evoque (starting at Rs48.73 lakh) and Freelander 2 (starting at Rs 41.82 lakh).
Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles are available in India through 21 authorised retailers in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi (at Janpath & Mathura Road), Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Raipur.
