Toyota’s new car giggles when touched

Engineers at Toyota have created the world's very first ticklish car which 'giggles' when touched in certain areas. The new Toyota Yaris, bearing a "TICK LME" number plate, was showcased for Red Nose Day, ANI reported.
Red Nose Day is a fund raising event held in March under the auspices of Comic Relief an operating British charity, founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry in response to famine in Ethiopia.
The Daily Star reported that the car reacted to touch by flashing its headlights and indicators, spraying water from the windscreen washer fluid spouts and moving like it was chuckling, in addition to a laugh recorded by Red Nose Day legend Lenny Henry.
A documentary being distributed on Toyota's social media channels detailed the story behind the creation of the car.
According to Matt Harrison, Toyota GB PLC president, this was the first of its kind car from Toyota and they hoped it helped to raise money for Red Nose Day.
The Yaris would be on display at fundraising events across the country in the run up to Red Nose Day on 13 March, with comedian Lenny Henry, Mr Tickle's distinctive laugh providing the car's hysterical reaction to being tickled by members of the public.
"I was tickled pink to be part of this brilliant idea. And thanks to my long arms and tickly fingers, I was able to help the designers add tickle-points to all those hard-to-reach places," Mr Tickle said.
The ticklish car would be ready for getting tickled by the public in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and London over the next month, Press Association reported.
A red nose for cars could be bought from Toyota dealers for £5, with the entire amount marked for Comic Relief.
