TCS to set up software centre in Thailand

Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), India's largest software services company, will set up a software production and development in Thailand, at an investment of around $1 million, according to Thai investment agency.

TCS' investment plans follow Thailand's effort to develop its software industry, said the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI).

TCS is part of the Tata Group, which numerous investments in the Southeast Asian nation, including Tata Motors (Thailand) and Tata Steel (Thailand).
