Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today announced a global strategic alliance with Pegasystems to strengthen TCS' business process management (BPM) and provide BPM solutions and services to clients worldwide.
BPM allows software vendors and system integrators to take a more agile approach to process improvement and thus provides rapid returns on investments.
"The growth trajectory in the market has presented many opportunities for BPM software vendors and systems integrators to work together to meet the demands that today's global organisations require," Michele Cantara, vice president of research at Gartner, said.
The strategic alliance will focus on all vertical markets serviced by TCS.
"Today's global organisations are looking to harness the power of BPM to drive business transformation projects that provide a rapid return on their investment," John Barone, managing director of global strategic alliances, Pegasystems, said.
"The strategic alliance will take advantage of Pegasystems' SmartBPM platform and industry frameworks and TCS' global network delivery model to help our customers increase the efficiency and agility of their IT operations," said, Suresh Muthuswami, vice president and head, Insurance, TCS.
Pegasystems, a US-based software firm, provides business process management and customer relationship management solutions to clients.
