Management reshuffle at Tube Investments of India

Chennai: It is time for top-level reshuffle at the city-based Tube Investments of India Limited. Consequent to his becoming executive chairman of the Murugappa Corporate Board, M A Alagappan has stepped down as chairman and director of the company.

M M Murugappan, who was vice chairman, has been appointed as non-executive chairman with effect from 1st November, 2006.

On the other hand managing director Sumit Banerjee has submitted his resignation, which was duly accepted by the company''s board. He will relinquish charge at the end of December, 2006.
