Abhishek Bachchan to be face of Videocon d2h

Mumbai: Videocon d2h, the direct-to-home TV service arm of Videocon Group, today announced its association with Abhishek Bachchan as the face of its DTH brand in Mumbai.
Videocon d2h, which launched its operations in the second quarter of 2009, also provides an array of the world's first satellite product range consisting of satellite LCDs, satellite colour televisions, satellite DVDs and satellite box offering direct-to-home services, creating a new category of products enabled with MPEG - 4 DVB S2 technology.
Bachchan will feature across all Videocon d2h brand and product communication including advertisements on TV, print, outdoor, radio and all BTL media like POS and collaterals.

Videocon d2h has partnered with Irdeto as it offers pay-TV operators a versatile, modular and scalable conditional access system (CAS) that protects content conveyed over cable, satellite, terrestrial, IP, mobile and hybrid networks. Similarly it has also associated Tech Mahindra as and IBM to provide a strong technology infrastructure.
