Arun K Thiagarajan joins WeP Peripherals board as chairman

Bangalore: WeP Peripherals (www.wepindia.com) has announced that Arun K Thiagarajan, former President of HP India, has rejoined its board as chairman.
Thiagarajan has over 34 years of corporate experience across the engineering and IT industries. He started his career in 1969 with Asea AB Vasteras, Sweden, and then later went on to become the managing director and country manager of Asea Brown Boveri.
In the IT sector, he was the head of Wipro Infotech and then retired as the executive president of HP India in July 2002. Thiagarajan was on the board of WeP in 2000-01, the first year of WeP after its spin-off from Wipro, in an employee-leveraged buyout.
Welcoming Thiagarajan on the board, WeP Peripherals managing director and CEO Ram N Agarwal said: Aruns experience was of immense value to WeP when the company was formed, and we welcome him back to guide us in our next phase of growth.
