  • Commercial paper programme Rating : P4 (Withdrawn)

The ‘P4’ (pronounced P Four) rating assigned to the commercial paper programme of Wipro Finance Limited has been withdrawn. The company has requested for the withdrawal as it is not likely to raise any funds by way of commercial paper.

For the year-ended March 31, 1999, the company reported total income of Rs. 65.07 crore and loss of Rs.68.65 crore. WFL has received necessary approval from RBI to prepay the fixed deposits and is in the process of pre-paying the fixed deposits.
