Wockhardt Hospital wins excellence in communications awards

Bangalore: Wockhardt Heart Institute, Bangalore, has won two awards from the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI), according to a company release.

ABCI conferred its 43rd annual awards for 2003 for excellence in communication. This is the first-time any hospital has won two ABCI awards in the category, it said.

The external magazine category award went to Wockhardt Heart Institute for its quarterly publication Take Heart given to heart surgery patients. The second award was for Wockhardt Hospital''s innovation in using digital media to promote wellness in the community.
