Delhi Duty Free Services, Yatra target international tourists with promotional offer

Delhi Duty Free Services Pvt Ltd (DDFS) in collaboration with travel portal Yatra.com has announced a promotional offer, 'Passage through India', for international travelers at the Delhi airport.
As per the offer, international travelers who purchase from DDFS will get a chance to win a grand tour of Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Agra, Udaipur and many other destinations on the 'Palace on Wheels' for free.
All international tourists who shop for $65 or above at the arrival or departure sections will be eligible for the grand tour through a lucky draw.
"For years, India as a travel destination has been viewed as representing royalty. Through this promotion, we aim to provide international travelers an opportunity to experience the true majesty India has to offer," Nicholas Goddard Palmer, CEO, Delhi Duty Free Services, said.
DDFS is giving away a total 13 grand tour packages, one every week for a couple and 15 mini-holiday packages in all - one every three days between 15 August and 15 November 2010.
"The alliance reiterates our passion for promoting India's hospitality to the World. It will help expand our reach and increase the customer touch points," Pratik Mazumder, head, marketing and strategic relations, Yatra, said.
DDFS is the single-largest duty-free retail operator in India and is exclusively accountable for managing and operating the duty-free retail outlets.
