Fly introduces mobile handset Booom with 30 x 40 mm speaker, in-built amplifier

New Delhi: UK-based Meridian Group's Fly Mobile, which pioneered dual SIM phones in Europe, has announced its new new mobile phone for young music aficianados, equipped with 30mm x 40mm speaker and an in-built amplifier, priced at Rs3,649.

The new model, MC105, branded Fly Booom,  packs in a host of multimedia features, allows pre-setting an SMS message for a particular date, time, mobile number or contact in the phonebook to send birthday or anniversary greetings at an appointed day and time.

The Fly Booom has a VGA camera, image viewer and different photo effects. It also has a 3GP/AVI video player and can record video in AVI format.

Some of its features include  a 3.5mm universal audio jack, FM radio with schedule recording, five different FM alarms, dedicated volume control keys and comes with an audio player that displays album cover, background and lyrics. Up to 15 FM channels can be saved on it with their specified channel effect.

In addition it has a unique personal safety feature, which women are bound to find reassuring. In case of being stalked or in danger, all  that a use has to do is long press the right shift key and an SMS is sent to a pre-selected number. As and when the SMS receiver calls back, the call gets picked up automatically such that your friend or family member can help you instantly.

Besides this, the handset features a Mobile Tracker, password protection, call blacklisting, SMS filter, etc, and it can also send a pre-specified SMS as and when a call is rejected.
