Infiniti Retail Limited today launched two more stores in Bengaluru, thereby taking the total number of Croma stores in the country to 50.
Chess wizard Viswanathan Anand inaugurated the Jaya Nagar store in the city. The other store was opened at Koramangla.
Croma stores at the two locations span 15,000 sq ft each and retail products in the home entertainment, small appliances, white goods, computers and peripherals, communication, music, imaging and gaming software categories.
"Croma today has set another benchmark with the launch of 50 stores in a span of four years," Ajit Joshi, managing director and CEO, Infiniti Retail Ltd, said.
"Bengalooru is one of our key markets and we are pleased to receive encouraging footfalls across all our stores here. With the launch of Croma at Koramangla and Jaya Nagar we are six stores-strong in the city and eleven-strong in the southern region," he added.
Infiniti Retail Limited is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Sons, which launched the consumer electronics and durables megastore Croma in 2006. Currently, they are 45 Croma and 5 Croma Zip stores across India.
