MVL Telecom launches G-81 mobile handset

MVL Telecom recently launched its first line of mobile phones and flagship device G-81, a bar phone with QWERTY keypad, priced at Rs5,500.
The handset comes with a dedicated push mail service, pre-loaded on the phone. Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail accounts are already configured on the device for users, with added facility to configure own email POP3 and IMAP4 accounts.
Push mail updates the mailbox constantly without user intervention. The push mail feature is free for two years with no fixed charges for data apart from the network GPRS charges.
Microsoft exchange support via outlook web access is also provided. With G-81, one can also check attachments in the mail.
The handset comes with a 2.4-inch TFT display and a touch sensitive optical track-pad, utilities like calendar, world clock, currency converter, e-book reader, and 3.2-megapixel camera.
The phone uses an Opera web browser and is pre-loaded with Nimbuzz and Snaptu for social networking. The dual-SIM phone supports two GSM connections with properly segregated inbox and contact lists.
MVL Telecom has an L4 service centre at Gurgaon, the first by an Indian mobile company that caters to all service back-up needs, right from basic servicing to component level repairing.
