With Reliance Jio entering the Indian telecom market, the race for cheaper tariff plans has intensified. Even as Reliance Jio continues to dominate the telecom market, competitors like Airtel and Vodafone are slowly getting into the race with similar tariff plans.
As per Telecom Talk, Vodafone will soon offer two new prepaid plans of Rs799 and Rs549 which will offer 4.5GB data and 3.5GB data per day, respectively. The new plans will offer the same benefits that Reliance Jio plans offer.
The two new Vodafone plans would however offer 500MB less than Reliance Jio's Rs799 and Rs509 tariff plans.
According to the report the new plans will be live across Vodafone's popular circles and will also offer benefits like unlimited voice calls and SMS.
Vodafone's Rs799 pack is especially designed to take on Reliance Jio's Rs799 pack, under which users get benefits of 5GB data per day and 140GB of total usage for 28 days. Vodafone's upcoming plan on the other hand will offer 4.85GB data per day which for a validity of 28 days.
With the plan users will get 126GB of data for 28 days.
With the Rs 549 plan users will get 98GB of 4G data for 28 days with a daily limit of 3.5GB per day. This pack also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming voice call benefits, along with 100 free SMS per day.
