A Velliangiri elevated as deputy managing director, TNPL

Chennai: A Velliangiri, director (finance), TamilNadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) has been elevated as the company's deputy managing director.
A fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Companies Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Velliangiri joined TNPL in 1995.
During his tenure Velliangiri with his financial acumen has seen TNPL expanding capacity couple of times at huge investment at minimal cost.
Interestingly this is the first promotion that Velliangiri or any top official in TNPL's finance department got in a long time.
Perhaps Velliangiri's elevation is a sign of better things to come for others in TNPL's management cadre.
