Adi Godrej, K C Shroff win Chemexcil lifetime achievement awards

Adi Godrej and K C Shroff have won lifetime achievement awards at the annual awards hosted by Chemexcil, the basic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics export promotion council.
Shrikant Kumar Jena, the minister of state for chemicals and fertilizers, conferred the awards to outstanding exporters who have excelled in their export performance. Anup Pujari, director general of foreign trade was also present on the occasion.
''This function is for presentation of 37th and 38th export awards to honour 96 top exporters in chemicals and allied fields for their excellent export performance during the financial year 2007-08 and 2008-09,'' said Anand Ladsariya, chairman, Chemexcil.
Chemexcil was formed in 1963 as a premier export promotion council by the government of India, ministry of commerce to help Indian exporters expand their presence in export field all over the globe.
