Anna is IAC, clarifies Kejriwal

The confusion over who owns the label 'India Against Corruption' (IAC) may finally end, as Arvind Kejriwal, a former member of 'Team Anna' who has gone political along with lawyer Prashant Bhushan, said today that his group will stop using that brand after he forms a registered political party on 26 November.
Anna Hazare, who originally started an anti-corruption movement almost two years ago, insists on remaining apolitical. However, there has been considerable confusion over who owns the IAC label; an issue that the media has fudged.
Kejriwal tweeted today, "Anna is too dear to us. I have deepest respects for him. After launch of our party on November 26, we will not use IAC name."
Kejriwal also told newspersons in Delhi that he considers Hazare his "guru" and talks to him every day.
"If he asks me to stop using the IAC's name, I won't use it," he said when asked about the 'Team Anna' suggestion that the IAC label remains theirs.
Kiran Bedi, the former senior cop who joined Hazare's anti-corruption movement at the outset, told reporters that she remains with Hazare.
"We will seek donations in the name of IAC. People can donate in the name of IAC. Arvind's organisation is PCRF (Public Cause Research Foundation)," she said.
