Audi India appoints new Heads for Marketing and After-sales

Mumbai: German luxury car manufacturer Audi today announced the appointment of Clemens Ollmert as head of marketing and Gerhard Pretorius as head of after-sales.
Ollmert, 38, who takes over from Martin Birkner has over 12 years of experience in specialised areas of marketing and CRM. A business economics graduate from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, Ollmert has an exceptional understanding of consumer markets across the globe through his various assignments with Audi AG.
Pretorius, 43, has over 18 years of experience in areas such as after-sales, field operations and product planning. He takes over from Martin Freudenhagen. A mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Pretoria, he is adept at market research and analysis, and has an in depth understanding of consumer trends in global markets.
Both Ollmert and Pretorius have previously been in management roles with Audi AG.
Audi India is structured in five main departments - marketing, headed by Clemens Ollmert; sales, headed by Anil Reddi; after sales, headed by Gerhard Pretorius; dealer network, head: Rishi Goel and; press communications, headed by Metabelle Lobo, all of who report directly to Benoit Tiers, managing director, Audi india.
