Captain Nair conferred Giants International's excellence award

Captain C P Krishnan Nair, chairman, The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts was conferred the Giants International Award for excellence in business and industry, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry.
The award ceremony, held at Hilton Towers last week was presided by Rajashree Birla, director, Aditya Birla Group.
On receiving the award, Capt Nair said, ''It seems just like yesterday when I started my purposeful life journey just eight decades ago and now I feel proud to stand tall with the recognition that the Giants award brings with it.''
With this award Capt Nair joins the ranks of eminent personalities including Dr. Manmohan Singh, Keshub Mahindra, Rahul Bajaj, Ratan Tata and Deepak Parekh, who have been recipients of the award in the past.
