Carrier India Appoints Gaurang Pandya as Managing Director

New Delhi: Carrier India has appointed Gaurang Pandya as managing director, effective 10 May, 2010, replacing Zubin Irani who has been promoted to senior managing director of United Technologies Corporation's commercial companies in India. Carrier India is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp unit, Carrier Corp.
Pandya will be responsible for the overall operations of Carrier's HVAC business in India, including revenue growth, profitability, development and implementation of business strategies, and employee and customer leadership.
Pandya joined Carrier in January 1999 in India and has since then held various finance positions in the company. He was general manager in Guam prior to his most recent role as director of the building systems and services business in India.
Headquartered in Farmington, Conn., Carrier Corp. is the world's largest provider of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, with operations in more than 170 countries.
