Cisco appoints Sanjay Rohatgi as sales head, service provider business for India and SAARC

Cisco has appointed Sanjay Rohatgi as senior vice president, sales and head of its service provider business across India and SAARC region.
Rohatgi, who has been with Cisco for the past seven years, will lead the telecom vertical for Cisco, and manage its overall growth strategy and sales operations.
Rohatgi will focus on the IP-NGN (internet protocol - next generation networks), mobility solutions, collaboration solutions, video technologies and Cisco's data centre and cloud computing platform.
Rohatgi's mandate also includes the partner and go-to-market models to help Cisco's customers create and market differentiated value added services, based on Cisco technology.
Naresh Wadhwa, president and country manager, Cisco India and SAARC, said, ''Rohatgi has a proven track record of managing the service provider business for Cisco's Asia business where he, along with his team, was successful in driving sales, business development and business partnerships with service providers for their technology needs.
