According to The New York Times, which cited a person briefed on the matter, the test results were consistent with what law enforcement officials have said about the account provided by the woman.

The paper, which cited law enforcement officials, also reported matching of Strauss-Kahn's DNA sample with semen on the woman's shirt.

According to the report, other tests including ones on samples taken from the carpet in the hotel suite were pending.
