Minal Shah, eBay's head of internet marketing in the UK, has quit following the consolidation of the internet auction site's marketing teams into its Zurich offices last month.

Shah was responsible for ramping up its online marketing activities, bringing in Manchester-based affiliate marketing agency R O Eye last autumn to support eBay's Partner Network.

The UK marketing team was asked to reapply for limited vacancies in Zurich, with UK marketing director Torsten Schuppe taking the role of European marketing director.

eBay's global fourth quarter revenues fell by $145m year-on-year to $2bn, the first quarterly decline for the online auction site.
