Ex-SpiceJet CEO Siddhanta Sharma moves to IndiGo owner, InterGlobe

New Delhi: Ex-chairman and CEO of low cost carrier, SpiceJet, Siddhanta Sharma, has moved to travel company InterGlobe, the owner of another Indian LCC IndiGo, as executive director (corporate affairs). Sharma moved from SpiceJet earlier this month even as that airline settled on American billionaire, Wilbur Ross, as an investor.
As head of corporate affairs for InterGlobe, Sharma will look after the company's business interests which include low cost carrier IndiGo and InterGlobe General Aviation which represents aircraft manufacturer Hawker Beechcraft in India.
Apart from that Sharma will also look the company's other business interests which include development and management of hotels in partnership with the French major Accor and distribution of Travelport's Galileo GDS.
