Formeer IIM-A dean Indira Parikh wins ‘Lifetime achievement’ and ‘Best teacher of the decade’ awards at Asia's best B-School awards

Indira Parikh, president, Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) and former dean, IIM Ahmedabad, was awarded the 'Lifetime achievement' and the 'Best teacher of the decade' awards at the Asia B-School awards held at Suntec, Singapore.
Commenting on the occasion, Parikh, said, ''This award will motivate us to provide FLAME students with the best in all spheres, especially faculty. I would like to thank my colleagues and mentors who always guided me. ''
Parikh has to her credit accolades including the 'Lifetime achievement award for best teacher in management' by Ascent in World HRD Congress; 'Lifetime achievement award for the contributions to HR' by Indira Group of Institutes, Pune, in 2003 and 'Lifetime achievement award' by PGP Students, IIM, Ahmedabad (2003-05 Batch).
Parikh is known for her work in organisational behaviour.
Instituted by the CMO Asia advisory board and advisory council of World Brand Congress, Asia B-School awards are presented to individuals and institutions which have surpassed several levels of excellence and have set an example of being a role model providing exemplary leadership, building institutions through leadership, innovation, and academic and industry interface.
The awards were attended by B-Schools including Australian School of Business, Melbourne, British University in Dubai, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIT Bombay, Georgia State University and others.
