Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated on X that they remained committed to their partnership with OpenAI. He expressed confidence in Microsoft's product roadmap, their ability to innovate based on everything announced at Microsoft Ignite, and their commitment to supporting customers and partners.
He also mentioned the anticipation of getting to know Emmett Shear and OpenAI's new leadership team. Microsoft was looking forward to collaborating with them. Furthermore, Satya Nadella conveyed excitement about the news that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, along with their colleagues, would be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team. The company was eager to swiftly provide them with the necessary resources for their success.
