Harvard Professor Dr Tarun Khanna to join GVK BIO board

Top Asian pharma and biotech contract researcher GVK Biosciences, today announced the appointment of Prof. Tarun Khanna to its board of directors.
Dr Khanna is the Jorge Paulo Lemann professor at the Harvard Business School, where he has been a member of the strategy group since 1993.
He holds a BS degree from Princeton University and a Ph D from Harvard University. He heads the 'strategy' course in the Harvard MBA programme and the 'strategy, leadership and governance executive education programme' and also lectures and consults with companies and governments worldwide.
Dr.Khanna has contributed articles to Harvard Business Review and Foreign Policy and has served as an expert for major news organisations such as The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, the Far Eastern Economic Review, and television channels CNN and CNBC.

Serving on the advisory boards of several multinational and emerging market companies in the financial services, automotive, life sciences and agribusiness sectors, Dr Khanna has experience in a wide variety of industries. He was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007.
