ISRO chief Kasturirangan to join Planning Commission

ISRO chairman Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, who isa member of the Rajya Sabha, will be appointed as a member of the Planning Commission.

Quoting Planning Commission deputy chairman Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, News agency PTI reported that Dr Kasturirangan's had not yet been formally appointed as he was still a Rajya Sabha MP.

Dr Ahluwalia said that the ISRO chairman would be formally appointed on his resignation from the upper house.
