LIC's Sarojini Dikhale joins LIC Nomura Mutual Fund AMC

LIC Nomura Mutual Fund AMC today announced the appointment of Sarojini Dikhale as its new director and CEO.
She is India's only woman leading an Asset Management Company.
An old LIC hand, Dikhale brings with her a rich experience of over 32 years in insurance industry and joins the AMC from LIC of India where she served as an executive director.
Prior to this, she was zonal manager's cadre in 2005, where she was deputed to the National Insurance Academy, Pune, as a faculty trains senior officials from the life
insurance industry.
Dikhale had joined LIC as a direct recruit officer of 12th batch in 1983. She successfully led the division of Goa for four years as senior divisional manager, during which time the Goa Division won several awards for sales and service and also won the chairman's trophy for overall excellence.
She holds bachelor's degree in arts, a master's degree in economics from Mumbai University and a post-graduate diploma in advance marketing from the International Institute of advanced marketing (IIAM, ACTE approved). She is also a law graduate and an associate of the Insurance Institute of India.
